FIND A MORE CREATIVE MIND

WORKSHOPS & EVENTS TO HELP YOU FEEL MORE FREE

SAT 25TH JAN 10-1PM : CREATIVE WORKSHOP + LIGHT LUNCH @ STUDIO MYTHA STUDIO, £30PP

Our workshops are a place for like-minded people to come together, try some arty activities, and then sit together to have a home cooked meal, all with the aim of tapping into the flow of a more creative mind. A creative mind is open, curious, playful, and most importantly, more free.

This is an accessible approach to wellbeing that anyone can try, creating mindset shifts that become a part of life, and that really last. A creative mind can tackle problems with curiosity, and remain open and receptive to change.

It doesn’t matter if you think you’re a creative person, and you don’t have to be good at drawing or painting to experience those benefits. This is a state of mind we can all tap into with a bit of guidance, and some subtle shifts in perspective.

YOUR GUIDE FOR THE SESSION IS OUR FOUNDER @AMYPATSALIDES

Amy works as a brand designer, loves spending time sketching & painting, and has an interest in Psychology that has led her to start her studies to become a therapist. She sees these workshops as a way to revisit how we can go about fostering creativity, and how that can also help with our wellbeing.

Most of my childhood I was faced with boredom. When I couldn’t play out with my friends, being an only child, I'd have little to entertain me. But it was this time in my life that I started drawing - and I’d spend HOURS doing so. I think fondly of these slower, more introspective times, and I feel there’s something there we could all benefit from now”

CREATIVE RETREATS*

*Disclaimer : Let go of trying to ‘be good’ at creating, forget strict processes, and finally realise that perfectionism will get you nowhere. This is an opportunity for anyone (not just people that work as creatives, or have a set creative practice), anyone, to come and create. Creativity is actually about playfulness, experimentation, and doing what you feel. If you are truly in a creative head space, you are totally lost in what you’re doing in that moment.
